Testimonals

Hello…My name is “Brianna” and I’m a seven month old golden retriever.  My folks took me to the Open House for Puppy Playschool on June 1.  Never had I met so many people or dogs at the same time.  At first it was a little scary but then I realized that all the people and pups were there to have fun so I joined in.  I had such a good time at the open house that my folks signed me up for 10 sessions of playschool.    My first night being left by my folks was tough for a few minutes but I had so much fun that I forgot they left.   The trainers made sure I was safe and having a good time.  I have met many pups and dogs of all ages since going to playschool.  Some of the elders have taught me good manners and I have taught some of the younger pups to play nice and get along.  I have learned so much and have such a wonderful time at playschool with my friends that my folks renewed my contract for another 10 sessions.   I think they enjoy playschool too because they get to go out to dinner and when they pick me up I’m so tired that I sometimes fall asleep before getting home.  For some reason they think this is a good thing.    Something about a tired pup is a good pup?   Oh and by the way…I’m not scared anymore.  In fact, I get so excited about going to puppy playschool that they can’t say “puppy playschool” until it’s time for me to get in the car to go.  I am so lucky to get to go to puppy playschool.

Puppy Playschool has been a wonderful learning and growing experience for me and Molly (5 month old Lab) and I would strongly recommend it to every dog owner.

The experience provides a critical social building block that prepares your dog for enjoyable interactions with other dogs, people, and situations they will face growing up.  Characteristics such as respect, patience, and sharing are some of the ingredients in this building block.  We should have puppy playschool for adults.

In addition to the benefits your dog will gain, I have also gained knowledge from the interaction with the other owners by sharing dog life stories.  It's great to hear how they have included their dogs in social activites that they would not have considered possible prior to coming to Puppy Playschool.  All of us have witnessed positive changes in all of the dogs and enjoy watching the dogs during class.

The real secret to the success of Puppy Playschool is Julia Siler-Wright, the instructor.  Julia has a unique passion and true interest in helping both the puppies and the owners get the most of their life together and maximizing the socialization aspects with other dogs.  She unselfishly shares her training knowledge with all of the owners with a personal touch that is hard to find these days.

Finally,  the real testimony to the success of Puppy Playschool is Molly.  She can't wait to go to the sessions.  She enjoys seeing both the other dogs, and the owners.  She is included in more of my activities because I know she is going have a positive and social attitude thanks to Puppy Playschool and Julia.
